French cashmere retailer to open first UK store

French cashmere retailer Franck Namani is to make its UK retail debut with a flagship store in central London.

Franck Namani will open a store at 33 Davies Street in June next year.

The 7,621 sq ft store will comprise of womenswear and menswear, and the lower ground floor will feature a bar.

Davies Street is also home to the Alfred Dunhill Club, Vivian Westwood and menswear label Udeshi.

The London store marks the start of the retailer’s expansion into the international market with future store openings planned for New York and Tokyo.

Franck Namani, founder of Franck Namani, said: “When deciding upon the location for our flagship store in London, we knew we wanted a destination famed for its fashion credentials and in the heart of traditional Mayfair. 33 Davies Street was the obvious answer, combining both tradition and some of the world’s most renowned fashion brands into one sensational shopping destination.”

Helen Franks, head of retail leasing at 33 Davies Street developer Grosvenor London, said: “33 Davies Street is a wonderful unit and we’re delighted a brand of this calibre will be making it home.”
