Kelly started his role on January 6 and will report directly to Gant’s commercial director Peter Jenkins.

He will be responsible for all of the wholesale operations at the brand and retailer, leading and directing the menswear, womenswear, kidswear and homewear divisions. He will also head up the company’s footwear, underwear and accessories licence businesses.

Kelly Joins Gant from Wolsey where he was international sales director. He has also previously worked at Marc O’Polo, DKNY and Fred Perry.

Fergus Patterson, managing director of Gant UK, said: “Having reviewed our commercial structure and given the importance of developing our wholesale business, we have strengthened our wholesale team in order to deliver our plans over the next few years. We are delighted to have Steven on board and look forward to the continued growth of Gant.”
