Gant kicks off store refurbishment programme

Gant is launching a store refurbishment programme, starting with a refit in Canary Wharf that is due to open on 24 August.

The store on Canada Place features menswear and womenswear from both the Gant and Gant Diamond G collections.

The store will has a specially designed “Shirt Wall” that showcases fit, styles and how best to care for the products.

Fergus Patterson, managing director of Gant UK and Ireland, said the Canary Wharf store was the best location to kick off a programme of refurbishments across the retailer’s estate.

“The Gant store at Canary Wharf first opened in 2005 and is a strongly performing location. It makes sense that we start our refurbishment programme here, given the demographic profile of Canary Wharf’s customer and its international reputation. The location offers Gant not only a great combination of high footfall and commerciality but also an affluent and discerning consumer.”

Gant has more than 500 stores globally. Last November, it opened a new concept store on London’s Regent Street.
