Gant launches mobile website ahead of click and collect service

Gant has launched a mobile-optimised website in the UK ahead of the arrival of the brand’s click and collect service this autumn.

The site adapts to users needs across a range of devices including tablets and mobile phones and will enable shoppers to select a click and collect option when they make a purchase.

Goods will then be delivered to 15 stores across the UK including the Gant flagship on Regent Street.

Fergus Patterson, managing director of Gant UK, said the launch followed “significant growth” of the label’s online sales, which now make up “a significant percentage of our total retail business”.

He added: “We know that a large proportion of our customers shop with us using mobile browsing technology and we want to ensure we give those customers a consistent browsing experience, so that shopping with Gant online is as enjoyable and as seamless as possible.”

Gant is currently operating in more than 60 countries, with 700 stores and 4,000 wholesale and concession accounts worldwide.
