Like-for-like sales at Gap's international arm, which includes the UK and Europe, rose 3% during the second quarter of the year. International sales grew to US$373 million (£185.48m) during the period, from US$339m (£168.58m) for the same period the year before. Net earnings for the group rose 19% to US$152m (£75.63m).
