US fashion retailer Gap's plans to refocus its product away from a younger customer are likely to filter into its UK strategy. A spokeswoman for Gap in the UK said that its 18- to 35-year-old customer range was too broad and that the UK-based European team was working on how it could create a better defined offer with a more focused target market. Gap Inc reported a 6% drop in international sales for the 14 weeks to February 3.
