Gerry Weber appoints new managing board

German womenswear brand Gerry Weber has appointed a new managing board to help drive an increase profitability at the firm.

From 1 April Johannes Ehling will take on the role of chief sales officer and chief digital officer. He was previously managing director of German family clothing retailer Ernsting’s Family.

Interim chief financial officer Jörg Stüber has been made permanent. He was appointed interim CFO following the departure of David Frink in November.

The managing board will be chaired by CEO Ralf Weber.

Weber said: “[The appointments] have resulted in a very experienced and competent managing board team. Together with all employees, we will lead Gerry Weber back to sustainable profitable growth and put all necessary measures into practice.”
