Gio Goi creates limited edition footwear

Streetwear brand Gio Goi has teamed up with car manufacturer Citroën to create a limited edition shoe.

The high top shoe is called the DS3 Racing Shoe by Gio Goi and is based on a Citroën car model called the DS3 Racing. The shoe has taken design inspiration from the car with a black and orange colour scheme, black leather and black mesh materials.

This range of footwear is limited edition with just 100 pairs being produced and will retail at £120. They will be sold on Gio Goi’s website and via a pop up store in East London.

Adam Ward, footwear designer at Gio-Goi said: “It’s the perfect partnership - both Gio-Goi and Citroën DS3 Racing are synonymous with the fast pace of urban life. The car’s unique lines, with the striking flashes of colour, hi-tech details and luxury comfort, have inspired me to create this stand-out premium shoe design.”

Gio Goi’s pop up store will be open for three days on September 13, 14 and 15 and will host a party on September 14 featuring performances from acts including D/R/U/G/S, Young British Artists and Silverclub. Tickets are free and available via www.gio-goi.com/ds3racing.
