Streetwear brand Gio Goi has announced a new media partnership with social news website Unilad.
The British clothing brand said it will collaborate with Unilad to create and distribute a wide range of content across its social platforms, which will “bring to life” the youth culture behind streetwear.
Gio Goi founder Anthony Donnelly said: “With the world now built around social media, it’s important to stay relevant and progress with the industry. Unilad is at the forefront of social innovation, which makes them the perfect partner.”
Unilad will promote content through its social media channels, whilst consumers can still buy direct from the Gio Goi website or other stockists.
Donnelly said: “We will also be collaborating on innovative ways to get consumers buying and engaging with the clothes they are wearing. The partnership will run for the foreseeable future.”
Last year, Gio Goi founders Anthony and Christopher Donnelly bought back the label from JD Sports, announcing plans to roll out the brand internationally and open standalone stores.
