Globe-trotter lands on Albemarle Street

British luxury brand Globe-trotter will open the doors to its new London Flagship at 35 Albemarle Street tomorrow (May 21).

The 2,594 sq ft store, split across two levels, is five times the size of the existing Globe-trotter store located in the Burlington Arcade, which will close on June 1.

The new Mayfair store will house the complete Globe-trotter collection as well as a ‘Bespoke Lounge’ where shoppers can create luggage from an selection of sizes, colours and finishings.

To celebrate the opening, a new range called ‘The Albemarle’ will be launched exclusively this week.

The range features navy leather cases trimmed with caramel and red leather. Each piece is also hand lined with a bespoke print inspired by the original North Star device logo from the 1912 catalogue.

Globe-trotter chairman Jeff Vaughan said the Albemarle Street store was the “culmination of the dream” to create a standalone Globe-trotter retail concept.

Globe-trotter is also stocked in Harrods, The Conran Shop on London’s Fulham Road and Harvey Nichols in Manchester.
