Gola to expand Irish wholesale

Sports footwear brand Gola is expanding its wholesale presence in the Irish market with the appointment of two new sales agents.

Brian O’Sullivan and Jamie Lewis, of sportswear focused sales agency Lime Green, have been hired as the brand’s first dedicated Irish agents.

The duo will be targeting sports-specific independents and multiples. Prior to the appointment of Lime Green, Gola’s Irish sales were handled in-house by Jacobson Group.

O’Sullivan, who is based in Cork, will assume responsibility for the south of Ireland while Lewis, based in County Mayo, will look after sales in the north part of the country as well as Northern Ireland.

The two will work on the sales and distribution of Gola footwear, apparel and bags as well as any opportunities arising for vintage sportswear brand Lonsdale, which Jacobson Group also owns.

Meanwhile in the UK, Jacobson Group has promoted Scott Anforth to sales executive for the Gola brand.

Anforth previously worked as a brand assistant and in his new role will cover the UK’s key accounts.
