Golden Goose Deluxe reportedly closing in on sale deal

Carlyle Group LP is reportedly close to securing a deal to buy the luxury Italian trainer brand Golden Goose Deluxe.

The brand is currently owned by private equity firm Ergon Capital Partners SA, but Bloomberg reports that an acquisition deal from the US-based Carlyle Group could be finalised this week. The deal would value Golden Goose at €400m (£344m).

Golden Goose sells at Harvey Nichols and etailers and Farfetch, among others.
