Graduation day at Fashion Retail Academy

The first graduation of students from the Fashion Retail Academy in London took place on Wednesday, with 130 students completing their Level 3 Diploma in Fashion Retail. Arcadia boss Sir Philip Green, M&S chief executive Stuart Rose and Tesco clothing chief Terry Green, who co-sponsor the Academy, presented additional awards to students. Thom Scherdel (above left) won the M&S award for enterprise; Liam Price (second from left) received the Arcadia award for outstanding student; Francesca Spencer-Gray won the Tesco award for progress; and Sherene Russell won the Next award for commitment. From next September, 350 students will study at the Academy on Gresse Street in London.
