Green says no intention to bid for Moss Bros

Sir Philip Green's Warbeck Holding Company has issued a statement saying it has no current intention to make a bid for Moss Bros.

Green's Warbeck vehicle acquired a 28% stake in Moss Bros on November 12 and at the time said it was considering the possibility of making an offer for Moss Bros.

Warbeck said in a statement: "Following consideration of its position, Warbeck confirms it has no current intention to make an offer for Moss Bros."

Warbeck bought its 28% stake in Moss Bros from Baugur for £6.7 million. Green was thought to be most interested in Moss Bros' hire business.
