Grenson to step onto Lambs Conduit Street

British footwear company Grenson is to open a new store on Lamb’s Conduit Street.

The 1,286 sq ft unit at number 40 on Lamb’s Conduit Street will be Grenson’s third store in London and is scheduled to launch early next year.

It will house the full collection of handmade leather shoes for men and women from the brand.

The move follows the European launch of US fashion brand J Crew, which opened its first UK store at Lambs Conduit Street in October.

Tim Little, owner and creative director at Grenson, said: “This is our biggest shop to date and it will give us the opportunity to do events and many other things that we haven’t been able to do in our smaller shops.”

Josephine de Castro, associate partner at Farebrother who advised landlord GMS Estates, said the store will be a “great addition” to the street given the “quality, heritage and style” of the brand.

He added: “There is a real sense of community and neighbourly spirit amongst the independent retailers and family-owned restaurants and eateries which creates a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The right tenant-mix is essential in retaining this essence.”

Grenson has 25 stockists in the UK including John Lewis, Asos, Urban Outfitters and Independent retailers Six Whiting St in Bury St Edmonds and Guilio’s in Cambridge.
