Gresham Blake teams up with Mocks for capsule collection

Contemporary tailor Gresham Blake has teamed up with footwear brand Mocks to create a capsule collection for men.

Blake has designed a penny loafer, a boat shoe and a tassel loafer placing printed leather onto the main body of the Mocklite driver shoe.

All styles feature sharks, guns and Blake’s logo and will be available in Gresham Blake shops in Brighton and Shoreditch, London, and the Mocks website this summer. Prices are yet to be determined.

Gresham said: “I’d been complaining that I find it really difficult to find fun and interesting summer shoes that are practical but stylish. There seemed to be a synergy between the two brands that fitted in well with the new holiday wear range that we were developing.”

In March Gresham Blake launched a footwear venture, allowing shoppers to customise shoes online and via an app. U Design Shoes lets customers choose from a variety of fabrics and colours to create their own personalised shoes, retailing at £385. Gresham Blake has produced a small amount of footwear before.
