Group sales at H&M in April increased by 7% year on year as the Swedish giant continues to expand its retail footprint.
The group had 4,474 stores on 30 April 2017, compared with 4,035 stores in the same month last year.
H&M opened its largest store in the UK last week, unveiling a 42,180 sq ft store at Westfield Stratford City. The new store has a greater focus on menswear and home, and also stocks beauty, alongside womenswear, its Divided range and kidswear.
The H&M Group’s newest fascia, Arket, will open a store in Copenhagen following the retailer’s global launch in London later this year.
