Kookai UK managing director Guy Critchlow is to step down on February 1.
Critchlow will be replaced by Matthieu Dietsch, who is currently international director at Kookai’s parent company.
Michael Bennett and Maurice Bennett will remain as joint chairman of Kookai UK, which is a join venture between Kookai’s French parent company, which is owned by Vivarte, and Amery Capital. Amery Capital founder Maurice Helfgott will also continue to play an active role in supporting the business.
Critchlow, who joined Kookai in 2006, said: “Since the joint venture was formed between Kookai [parent company] and Amery Capital in January 2006 we have been repositioning to bring ourselves in line with the international brand which trade successfully in 35 countries. The next phase of this strategy will see the UK subsidiary integrate its operations more closely with its French parent company. Matthieu is the right person to lead the business in this delivery with his extensive knowledge and experience of the Kookai global operations.”
