British menswear brand Hackett has closed its UK press department as part of “cost-saving measures”, resulting in the loss of three jobs.
PR managers Vicky Batista and Charlotte Falco and UK and Ireland PR assistant Daisy Roberts have left the business. Chief marketing officer Mark Blenkinsop remains in his position.
In a statement the company thanked all three for their work and wished them luck for the future. It is not yet known if any other areas of the business will be affected by the measures.
It comes less than a year after Hackett brought the PR for Ireland in house last November.
Hackett has not yet responded to a request for further comment.
