Hallett Retail rejigs management team

Multi-brand concession business Hallett Retail has made a raft of key senior management appointments.

Former Miss Selfridge buying director Suet Cheung has joined as product director. She will manage and oversee the development of Hallett Retail’s portfolio of clothing and accessories brands. Cheung has previously worked in buying roles at MK One, River Island and Kookaï.

Donna Toppin joins as retail director from womenswear chain Jacques Vert, where she was retail operations director for 10 years. Her remit is to work with host stores to maximise the performance of concessions and open more. Hallett Retail operates branded concessions within Debenhams, New Look and a string of indies.

As a result of the appointments, Jason Lyons, Hallett Retail retail director, has moved into the newly created role of central operations director, reporting to Toppin. Commercial director Dean Cooper takes up the position of ecommerce director in addition to his current role to maximise online opportunities for Hallett’s concession brands. He remains responsible for the planning team and for menswear.

Hallett Retail founder and managing director Wendy Hallett said: “I believe the appointments will strengthen our senior management team and that, coupled with the introduction of new functions, will position us to take the business to an even more successful level.”
