Development company Hammerson has invested in a £502m portfolio of designer outlet centres in Europe, as it seeks to expand its international operations.
The company has bought stakes in four outlet centres, in Germany, Poland, Spain and France through investor VIA Outlets, in which Hammerson holds a 47% stake, the Daily Telegraph has reported.
The property company also owns Bicester Village in the UK, and its portfolio of shopping centres includes Victoria Gate in Leeds, which opened last month.
