Handbag brand secures investment through crowdfunding platform

Leather goods label Aevha London has secured £150,000 investment through crowdfunding platform Crowdcube to further expand the business.

The handbag brand attracted the funding in 39 days from 79 investors to grow its product portfolio and increase its stock production.

The brand is exhibiting at London Fashion Week from tomorrow, where it exhibited last season and gained four stockists.

The brand, which offers bags priced between £695 and £995, is currently sold through its own website, etailers Graziashop and Then and Now, and in-store at The Clerkenwell Collection in London.

Founder and creative director Alice Horlick said: “Our first year has been incredible and the support from investors, media, celebrities and retailers, not just in the UK, but from around the world has been overwhelmingly positive.

“This pivotal moment in the growth of Aevha London is very exciting, as it paves the way for the brand’s future.”
