Underwear brand Hanro has unveiled a new ready-to-wear womenswear collection, Eric & Me, for autumn 15.
The 43-piece range is inspired by Hanro’s first ready-to-wear collections in the 1930s, designed by siblings Madeleine and Eric Handschin, who took over the family business Hanro in 1933.
Heike Dueckers, head of product and design for Eric & Me, said the relaunch of womenswear for the label was a “logical step”.
“When we discovered the great history of Hanro womenswear in the archive dating from the 30s to the 80s and saw all the great styles, design sketches and images from the former century, the old entrepreneur spirit of our founders caught us, and we decided to take this for us totally logical and natural step to re-launch the women’s outerwear segment.”
Wholesale prices range from £39 for tops to £140 for jackets.
The collection will be shown at Premium in Berlin, Who’s Next in Paris, Supreme in Dusseldorf and CIFF in Copenhagen this season.
