Harrods has launched a personal shopping service across its menswear and lifestyle departments, offering styling advice and product guidance, as the competition for menswear spend hots up.
The iconic Knightsbridge department store’s team can also arrange gift-wrapping and delivery anywhere in the world. The service is free and there is no minimum spend.
“We understand that our male customers are becoming increasingly involved in their purchases; this is reflected in the fact that the percentage of men who shop in our menswear departments has risen from 20% a few years ago, to 55% today,” said Jason Broderick, Harrods fashion director of menswear, sports and fine watches.
“While men are interested in exploring, expectations regarding their fashion and lifestyle shopping experiences continue to have one common and longstanding requirement: efficiency. Men continue to be time-sensitive when it comes to shopping, and this is where our dedicated men’s adviser service adds immense value.”
Rival Harvey Nichols relaunched the menswear department at its Knightsbridge store last month after nine months of refurbishment.
