Harrods not hit by congestion charge

Harrods said the extension of the congestion charge zone in London this week had not hit trading. It anticipated some impact in the first days of the scheme, which was rolled out to Kensington and Chelsea on February 19. Meanwhile, the London Retail Consortium is calling on London's mayor Ken Livingstone to adopt a more flexible approach to the congestion charge, suggesting that different rates should be charged at different times of the day.
