Harveys of Halifax promotes Tony Murray

Harveys of Halifax, the family-run department store in West Yorkshire, has promoted Tony Murray to the new role of store director from his role as general manager.

Murray joined the retailer almost eight years ago as sales development manager and has previously held roles at Flannels, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.

Managing director Tracy Harvey said: “I am delighted Tony has accepted the position of store director, which more accurately reflects his role and contribution to the business.”

Murray added: “I am very proud to have been offered the new position at Harveys. This is a very exciting time for the business and I am very glad to be a part of it.”
