Havaianas appoints new EMEA president

Footwear brand Havaianas have appointed Guillaume Prou to be the new president for the EMEA region. He takes the reins from Eno Polo, who has held the role since 2008.

Prou is already familiar with the region, having worked as CFO for EMEA at Alpargatas, which produces the Havaianas brand, for five years.

In his new role, Prou will aim to continue growing Havaianas in the EMEA region. The brand said in an announcement that the new president would be concentrating on product extensions, retail footprint and developing wholesale business.

Before joining the Brazil-based company, Prou worked for 15 years at L’Oréal.
