Hill & Friends receives £1.5m investment

Luxury handbag maker Hill & Friends has raised £1.5m to help hire more staff and improve its website.

The brand, which was founded by former Mulberry creative director Emma Hill and marketing chief Georgia Fendley, has sold a minority stake to private investment firm IW Capital in exchange for the funds, according to the Sunday Times.

Hill & Friends will open its first store later this month on London’s South Molton Street. The brand was founded in 2015 and is currently stocked by Net-a-Porter, Harrods, Selfridges and John Lewis.
