H&M’s nomination committee has recommended the appointment of former Google country director of Sweden Stina Honkamaa Bergfors to its board.

Honkamaa Bergfors is currently a member of Ikea’s global board of directors and the co-founder and chief executive of digital media company United Screens. She worked at Google from 2008 to 2013.

Lawyer Erica Wiking Häger has also been nominated to join the retailer’s board of directors.

Wiking Häger has been a partner at the law firm Mannheimer Swartling since 2009. She is the firm’s chair of the corporate sustainability and risk management practice group and leads a team of lawyers which offers advice on matters associated with human rights, working conditions, the environment and anti-corruption.
