Hobbs appoints new finance chief

Hobbs has appointed Mehul Tank as chief financial officer, taking over from Simon Luscombe.

Mehul Tank, Hobbs

Tank most recently worked for private equity firm JH Partners, serving as interim chief executive of one of its retail businesses in the US.

Before that he was CFO at Dutch fashion retailer Mexx from July 2014 to January 2015.

Previous employers include lifestyle retailer Esprit, where he was corporate controller from 1999 to 2001, and Levi’s, where he was an analyst and general accounting manager from 1996 to 1999.

Tank is joining Hobbs with immediate effect. Luscombe has moved into the role of omnichannel trading director.
