Premium womenswear retailer Hobbs has launched on Berlin-based etailer Zalando, to complement its existing online offer.
The retailer is offering a selected range of its clothing through Zalando to shoppers from the UK and 15 other European countries.
“We are constantly looking for ways to make sure our customers are offered the very best in flexibility and choice, to support their busy lifestyles, and also to reach out to those women who may not have shopped with us before,” said Hobbs chief executive Meg Lustman. “We are therefore delighted to announce this relationship with Zalando.”
Hobbs entered the German market with concessions in Wöhrl and SinnLeffers department stores in March and aims to open further concessions next year.
It follows Hobbs’ growth in the US and Sweden, in addition to its existing local online presence in Germany and Australia.
Lustman, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, including a 10-year stint with Mosaic/Aurora and four years as managing director of Warehouse, succeeded Nicky Dulieu at Hobbs in September 2014.
