Holly Fulton appointed head of fashion at Cambridge arts school

Designer Holly Fulton has been appointed head of fashion at the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA), and will now lead its Fashion BA Hons degree.

Her new position sits alongside her director role at her eponymous label, which she founded in 2009.

Fulton has also been an ambassador for Graduate Fashion Week for two years, a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art and Kingston University and won Innovator of the Year at the Scottish Fashion Awards 2016.

The college said that she will bring a “global understanding of the industry” and an “incredibly strong UK reputation” to the school.

Karin Askham, head of college at CSVPA, said: “We wanted to find an active fashion designer to be our head of fashion, to offer our students unparalleled industry insights as part of their education.

“Holly brings both a global understanding of the industry, with the success of her brand in Asia and the US, as well as an incredibly strong UK reputation through her significant position in Graduate Fashion Week. We are very proud to have her on our team.”
