House of Fraser appoints new digital director

House of Fraser has appointed former head of digital at the Ministry of Justice Mark Madden as director of digital products.

Madden will lead digital product, project and customer experience in the newly created role, reporting into chief customer officer Andy Harding.

He worked at the Ministry of Justice as digital service director from October 2014 and has previously held roles at TalkTalk, Boots, British Gas and Sky.

His appointment is the latest move in HoF’s attempts to bolster its multichannel offer.

In June Drapers reported HoF is merging its in-store and online teams in its Marylebone, London, head office. The restructure will see the business, which is owned by Chinese conglomerate Sanpower, move closer to a single channel approach to sales.
