House of Fraser digital director departs

House of Fraser digital director David Seeby has left after six months in the role, it has emerged.

Seeby is understood to have left HoF last week for personal reasons. He joined the department store chain in January from Marks & Spencer (M&S), where he was head of merchandising and analytics.

He also held various roles including head of M&S.com operations and head of user experience and studio.

It is understood that he has been replaced by former The Body Shop ecommerce director Edwin Blanchard on an interim basis.

HoF declined to comment.

Seeby reported to David Walmsley, HoF’s chief customer officer. Walmsley also joined the department store group from M&S, in September.
