Department store chain House of Fraser has appointed Andy Harding as director of ecommerce.
Harding was previously director of multichannel and account sales at stationary retailer Ryman, and head of ecommerce at Carphone Warehouse for eight years before that. He replaces Peter Callaway who has retired.
Harding will join House of Fraser on Monday January 31 reporting to Robin Terrell, executive director of multichannel and international.
Terrell said: “We’re extremely excited to welcome Andy to the House of Fraser multi-channel team at such a pivotal time in our development. Andy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be invaluable in delivering the next stage of our ecommerce strategy.”
House of Fraser has grown its online sales 130% over the last year, helped by the introduction of features such as click and collect.
