House of Fraser is exploring what department stores will be like in the next decade, enlisting digital transformation agency TH_NK as part of its future-facing strategy.

TH_NK will lead consultancy work to help create an understanding of the changing role of the physical shop and the methods of engaging with an informed, connected consumer.
Julian Burnett, chief information officer at HoF, said the agency will play an integral role in helping it shape its future direction “in what is a really exciting time for retail”.
“The retail sector is entering another phase of transformation and high street players can play their physical assets to their advantage,” said Tarek Nseir, founding partner at TH_NK.
The consultancy firm will embark on a series of facilitated interviews, roundtables and panels to track how consumer behaviours and technologies are evolving.
