Howard Ross loses job in Gerry Weber restructure

Howard Ross, the UK and Republic of Ireland country manager for German mainstream womenswear brand Gerry Weber, has been made redundant.

Ross, who had held the role for nearly six years, told Drapers that Gerry Weber was restructuring in the UK.

Ross said: “The company is centralising everything and they want the role to be done by someone based in Germany.”

He declined to comment further.

Gerry Weber has 400 wholesale accounts in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

For further details see next week’s Drapers magazine.
