Streetwear and boardsports trade show Hub has signed brands including Etnies, Billabong and Plain Lazy to its first edition in August.
Hub, is being organised by Brintex to replace the company’s Surf Shop trade show, which stopped running last year following difficult trading conditions in the market.
Hub will take place in a series of marquees at a local skate spot on the waterfront in Bristol from August 10 to 11.
The show has also signed up Protest, RVCA, Shiner, Trespass, TKC, Santa Cruz, Duffs, Globe, West, Bodyglove, Gul, Independent, Sutsu, Tucagua, Sanuk and Indoboard among others.
Hub will also feature skate boarding and water sport demonstrations and a networking party on the first night.
Event director Lucy McPhail said: “When the Surf Shop trade show didn’t take place in 2009 a huge number of buyers and brands missed this. Hub will deliver the order writing and sourcing of new product that the industry had in the past, but with a new energy and creativity that the new concept, brands and venue make possible.”
