Hull indie Bolo to open second store in Beverley

Independent men’s and womenswear retailer Bolo will open a 3,500 sq ft store at Flemingate in Beverley, East Yorkshire, in October.

The store will be the second store for Bolo, joining an existing store at Prospect Shopping Centre in Hull.

Bolo was established in 1990 on Savile Street, Hull, by brothers Steve and Paul Wilks and was Drapers’ Womenswear Independent of the Year in 2000.

The new two-floor store will stock womenswear on the ground floor from brands including Ted Baker, Ugg, Barbour, Gestuz and Cheap Monday.

The first floor will stock menswear from labels including Armani EA7, Denim Is Everything, Lyle & Scott, Barbour and Jack &Jones.

Paul Wilks said: “Flemingate is a great opportunity for us to grow the Bolo brand. We are delighted to be opening and are confident Flemingate will help us to attract an even larger customer base from a much greater area.”
