Hunter has named former Christopher Raeburn design manager Daniel Shaw as its new design director.
Shaw left Christopher Raeburn in August after six years – three years as in-house production manager and the latter three as design manager.
He has also been an associate lecturer at the London College of Fashion since 2015.
At Hunter, he will be responsible for design across the Hunter Original and Hunter Field collections.
He replaces Niall Sloan, who moved to Escada earlier this summer. Sloan had held the role at Hunter for four years, and previously worked at Burberry.
Hunter’s creative director, Alasdhair Willis, said: “I believe in Daniel we have found that very rare commodity, a designer that not only understands how to deliver design integrity, but can do it while always maintaining a commercial position and retain visibility of the consumer.”
