Kidswear retailer I Love Gorgeous is ambitiously targeting 60% sales growth online with the launch of an affiliate programme to drive traffic to its transactional website.
It has appointed digital agency Steak to manage its affiliate activity, which will include a presence on voucher code sites as well as link-ups with various kidswear blogs.
I Love Gorgeous consultant Anna Porter-Wright said ecommerce was its fastest-growing area, now accounting for more than 50% of total sales.
“The average order on our website is about £150 but there are still potential customers who need to be aware of I Love Gorgeous,” she said.
The business operates German, Italian, French, Spanish and US versions of its site and Porter-Wright did not rule out launching similar affiliate programmes in these territories.
“The US is our second-biggest market so we might look to do something there next, but there is still more to do in the UK first,” she added.
I Love Gorgeous has a standalone store in London’s Notting Hill and is also wholesaled via department stores including Selfridges and Harvey Nichols and indies including Ten Little Monkeys in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
