Sportswear brand Adidas has announced plans to open a 500 sq ft shop-in-shop at Harvey Nichols’ London flagship in Knightsbridge on March 2.

The space, located in the menswear department on the lower ground floor of the department store, will mark the first time an edit of the Adidas Originals, Y-3, and performance and designer collaboration collections - including Raf Simons, Juun J, Rick Owens and Pharrell Williams - will be sold alongside each other.

Designed in-house by Adidas, the retail and gallery space will feature raw steel panels, white glossed shelving, vintage school lockers and wooden benches.

Creative director of Adidas’ Sport Style division, Dirk Schoenberger, said: “Fashion-forward sportswear is one of the cornerstones of what Adidas offers and this space will enable consumers to buy covetable, innovative product at a true destination for luxury shopping.”
