Image gallery: Karl Lagerfeld launches first UK store

Karl Lagerfeld launched its first UK store on March 13, marking the 17th store the brand has opened in the last 12 months.

The 2,691 sq ft unit at 145-147 Regent Street showcases the “world of Karl Lagerfeld” complete with both men’s and womenswear, accessories and special objects including Lagerfeld dolls. The shop also debuted the London-inspired capsule collection, which takes inspiration from the UK and the Union Jack flag.

The two floor store has a strong focus on digital with iPad minis integrated into display racks enabling customers to browse the whole collection online and iPads in changing rooms allowing shoppers to take ‘selfies’ and upload them onto social media.

To celebrate the launch a private cocktail party was held with founder Karl Lagerfeld present along with Princess Beatrice, model Amber Le Bon and model David Gandy.
