Luxury lingerie business La Perla opened its new London flagship at 9 Old Bond Street today (July 17).
The 1,614 sq ft store, which spans three floors, has been designed by Italian architect Roberto Baciocchi. Like La Perla’s existing Sloane Street store, the boutique features walls dressed in painted fabric and display cases.
Along with the full autumn 14 collection of lingerie, swimwear and nightwear, the new store offers La Perla’s made to measure service which gives customers the opportunity to personalise their purchases with gold thread and Swarovski crystals. This service is available in a private room on the second floor of the store.
From December the boutique will house the brand’s new concept menswear line which launched at Pitti Uomo in June.
As reported by Drapers last month La Perla will open its first men’s-only store on Mount Street in May 2015, which will also adopt the new concept line.
