Etailer Missguided has kicked off 2015 by jumping on the sportswear bandwagon with the launch of its first activewear range.
The Missguided Active collection, which includes 50 pieces, features vibrant prints, strappy tops and statement slogans. It is priced between £9 and £20 will be available online from January 20.
Victoria Betts, marketing and trading director at Missguided, said: “We pride ourselves on being a responsive and agile business that is in tune with what our consumers want. We have seen growing interest from consumers in clothing that is both functional and fashionable, and Missguided Active has been launched to meet this demand.”
Following the launch of Missguided Active and Missguided+, the plus size collection it unveiled last year, the etailer plans to introduce a petite and tall range in 2015.
Over the Black Friday weekend at the end of November, Missguided experienced a 180% lift in sales.
Boohoo and New look have also launched sportswear ranges for spring 15.
