IMAGE GALLERY: Prima High Street Fashion Awards

Next was named High Street Retailer of the Year for 2011 at last night’s Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards.

As well as taking the top title, Next also won awards in the Shoes, Workwear, Social Media and Online Shopping categories, taking their award wins to a total of five for the evening. John Lewis, Matalan and Marks & Spencer all collected two awards each. The full list of award winners is below.

The awards, held at Battersea Evolution in London and now in their 17th year, celebrate the best in high street retail, with winners chosen by a panel of expert judges – including Drapers editor in chief Caroline Nodder – in combination with votes from Prima readers and high street shoppers.

This year’s show was hosted by Jeff Banks and Prima magazine editor Maire Fahey, and  attracted more than 1000 Prima magazine readers and high street retailers as well as celebrities including Michelle Collins, Angelica Bell, Katie Piper, Lauren Goodger, Lydia Bright, Andrea Maclean and Darius Campbell. Last year’s X-Factor winner Joe Mcelderry opened the show by singing two tracks from his album.
