Image gallery: Self-Portrait opens first store

Premium womenswear brand Self-Portrait has opened its first standalone store in London’s Mayfair.

The 2,500 sq ft store, designed by Casper Mueller Kneer Architects, is set over two floors and uses geometric shapes, pink-and-white marble and includes a dedicated space for video artwork. The brand said the concept will be echoed in further stores.

“Every element in the store was carefully considered to create an inviting and luxurious environment,” said founder and creative director Han Chong.

The store offers personal styling appointments, tailoring and 90-minute delivery to customers living in London.

Self Portrait was founded by Chong in 2013 and stockists include Selfriges, Net-a-Porter and Harvey Nichols.
