Selfridges unveiled the new Designer Studio at its Oxford Street store to the public yesterday, as the latest stage in its ongoing £300m regeneration project.
The 20,000 sq ft space sits on the third floor next to the recently opened Body Studio, and the near the Denim Studio and Contemporary Studio, which brings together high street and premium brands.
The Designer Studio houses more than 60 British and international streetwear, contemporary and luxury ready-to-wear labels, including Maison Margiela, Undercover, Toga, Jacquemus, Craig Green, Moschino, Kenzo and 3.1 Philip Lim.
It also carries 22 new brands, including Yulia Kondranina, Dilara Finikoglu, Plys, Richard Malone, Le Kilt, Aalto, Walk of Shame and ALYX.
A space called &Co-Lab features collaborations with young British or international labels.
There is an art gallery and a book shop, which sells a specialist mix of photography, fashion and arts books, and magazines.
