Image Gallery: Stradivarius opens first UK store

Spanish womenswear retailer Stradivarius opened its first UK store this week in Westfield Stratford.

Stradivarius is aimed at women aged between 20 and 35 and owned by Spanish fashion group Inditex, which has launched five other brands - Zara, Zara Home, Pull & Bear, Bershka and Massimo Dutti - in the UK to date.

Stradivarius has more than 870 stores in 60 countries across the globe, including China, Russia and Saudi Arabia, and is understood to be seeking further locations in the UK following the Westfield launch. Its sales reached the €1bn (£800m) mark last year.

The Westfield store is 4,250 sq ft.
