Etailer In The Style has appointed River Island ecommerce merchandising manager James Malysz as its new head of buying and merchandising.
The business has also hired Sofology chief technology officer Jonathan Cleaver in the same role.
Malysz’s held his most recent role at River Island since 2015. Prior to that he had senior merchandising roles at JD Sports and N Brown Group.
Cleaver worked at Sofology for three years from 2015.
The appointments bring In The Style’s head office headcount to 74, rising from 53 over the past 12 months.
Drapers revealed in September that Missguided’s former chief financial officer Paul Masters joined the business as chief operating officer, in the brand’s first senior appointment.
Dane Stanley, former global marketing director at Missguided, joined In The Style as chief marketing officer at the same time.
In The Style, which was founded in 2013, gained backing from mid-market private equity firm Livingbridge in May 2017.
